FEMA Approved 2015 Mitigation Plan

By regulation, Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plans must be formally updated every five years. The plan was updated in 2015. The update process is an opportunity for Morris County and its municipalities to re-examine their vulnerability to natural hazards, evaluate progress on the mitigation strategies identified in the original plan, and add new mitigation actions/projects/initiatives so that the County can continue to lower its overall natural hazard risk.  Below are the approved sections of the 2015 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.
